Within Age of Empires: Definitive Edtiion are a set of Accessibility options that determine what aspects of the game are narrated. This is easy to fix:

1. Launch Age of Empires: Definitive Edition.
2. From the main menu, select Options and then Settings.
3. Under the Accessibility header, un-check the Menus, Chat, and Game boxes.
4. Click OK to save your settings.
