A: These items are only available for purchasers of the Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam. You can navigate to each item by following the steps below:
Age of Empires IV Digital Soundtrack – The official Age IV soundtrack is yours to enjoy! This can be found in your Steam Library by selecting Age of Empires IV. The soundtrack is stored under Additional Content. Clicking into the Soundtrack page will allow you to download the WAV and MP3 files to your device and play the tracks through Steam.
Craig Mullins Compilation Banner and Unit Counter Chart – Use these out-of-game assets to liven up your desktop background or brush up on your strategy by memorizing the various unit counters. These items are found by opening your Steam library, right clicking the Age of Empires IV title, selecting Manage and then Browse Local Files. Folders should appear that contain each of these items!
In-Game Items – These exclusive in-game items allow you to customize your Age of Empires IV profile and Town Center in ways that others can see!
To access the Digital Deluxe Edition Player Profile Portrait, Coat of Arms Sigil and Banner, and Monument, you’ll need to launch Age of Empires IV. From there, you’ll open your profile in the lower-left-hand corner of the Main Menu. Below, this is represented with the Wolf icon (the exclusive Player Profile Portrait provided in the Digital Deluxe Edition!).
After clicking on this icon, you’ll be brought to your Age IV Player Profile. This is where you can customize all sorts of things – from your player profile portrait and Coat of Arms, which are seen by others at the start of multiplayer matches, to your monument, which is visible from your in-game Town Center.
The Digital Deluxe Edition in-game items allow you to show off your ferociousness in battle with Wolf-themed art. Each item should be marked with a small yet visible circle on first launch to indicate it’s new to your inventory.
Player Profile Portrait – Displayed in Custom Match Lobbies and while loading into the game. You can update your Player Profile Portrait by clicking the pencil icon pictured below.
Monument – Show off your bravery and ferocity to others by setting up your Monument, visible from your Town Center. This can be edited in the right-hand side of the profile by pressing the pencil icon.
Coat of Arms – Various elements of the Coat of Arms can be adjusted, including the Sigil and Frame. Pictured below are options exclusive to the Digital Deluxe Edition.
