New Voice Chat features have been added for Multiplayer Lobbies. This includes:
- Voice Chat support has been added to Steam.
- Voice Chat is now cross-platform for all platforms.
- Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Chat options have been added to all platforms.
How do I turn on or off Voice Chat?
Voice Chat settings can be controlled by going to Settings > Audio.
What is Speech-To-Text and how can I turn it on?
Speech-To-Text is a feature that will automatically transcribe what a player is saying through their mic into the in-game text chat for other players to see.
To enable Speech‑to‑Text, go to Settings > Audio. Then check the box next to Speech To Text. Additional display options can also be adjusted from this menu.
