Linking your Steam game of Age of Empires IV to you Xbox account can unlock additional benefits such as the Insider Rewards.
If you do not already have an Xbox account, it's easy (and free!) to set up an account.
Create an Xbox account
If you already have an Xbox account, or after creating an account, follow these steps to link it with your game.
- Open Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition
- Click your portrait icon in the lower left corner of the main menu.
- Click Link Xbox Network Profile at the bottom of the menu that opens.
- Follow the prompts to sign in.
