If Age of Empires IV is not listed in Steam, then the step below can be used to help troubleshoot this issue.
🛠 Check Steam for Updates
- Logout and close Steam
- Restart your machine
- Open Steam and Login again
- If there were any pending Steam updates, they should run now.
🛠 Search your Library for "Age of Empires IV"
From the left-pane of the Steam Library, use the search bar to search for the game by name, this should circumnavigate any filters or hidden status enabled in Steam
🛠 Check that the Game is Fully Downloaded
- Open the Downloads page in Steam (bottom center of Steam app)
- If the game is listed on this page, then it is has not finished downloading and installing
- This page will also show if you have any connectivity issues preventing Steam from downloading the game
