What information should I include in my request?
- What you need help with (include as many details as possible)
- Your platform (Steam / Microsoft Store / Xbox / PlayStation)
- Your gamertag, Steam ID or PSN username
- Any error message text and troubleshooting you’ve already tried
- Screenshots, Videos demonstrating the issue, or System files if available

Do I need an account to contact support?
No, but when you contact support, you’ll be prompted to verify the email address you’re using. This helps us confirm you can receive replies and allows you to securely view and follow up on your support requests.
Can I contact support from a different email address?
Yes, but you must verify the email address you submit the request from, and you’ll need to use that same verified email to view updates on that request. For the fastest help, use an email address you can reliably access.
How do I verify my email address?
- Open the support request form: Submit a request
- Enter the email address you want to use for support communications.
- Fill out the request forum, providing as many details as possible and then click the Submit option at the bottom of the page.
- After you submit your request, you’ll receive a notification letting you know that a verification email has been sent to your inbox.
- Check your email inbox for the verification email.
- Follow the instructions in the email to verify your address to finish submitting your request.
I didn’t receive the verification email. What should I do?
- Check your spam/junk folder and any “Promotions” or “Other” tabs.
- Wait a few minutes and refresh your inbox. Sometimes automated messages, such as email verification, will have a short delay.
- Search your inbox for messages from Age of Empires Support.
- Make sure you entered your email address correctly on the request form.
- If you used a school or work email address, your organization may be filtering automated emails. If this is the case, please try a personal email instead.
How will I receive updates?
After the Support team reviews your request, they will reply directly to your ticket and send an update to the email address you provided when submitting your ticket. Typically, you can expect a response within 48 hours. However, please be aware that response times may be longer during holidays or other periods of high volume.
