Accounts which do not have their email address verified within 7 days of registration will be automatically opted-out of the Age Insider Program. If you have passed this time frame, you will need to retake the Sign-Up Survey and re-verify your account email address.
To Verify your Account Email Address:
- Login to your Age Insider Profile
- To the right of your Preferred Email, click the Resend Verification link
- A verification email will be sent to your preferred email address
- It may take up to 1 hour for the email to send
- In rare instances, it may take up to 72 hours for the email to be received
- Locate the Verification Email in your inbox
- Check junk, spam, and promotion folders if you do not see the email
- If you've sent multiple verification emails to yourself, only use the most recent one
- Click the Verify Email button within the email
- You should be redirected to your Age Insider Profile where you can confirm your email address now reads Verified
If you are having trouble receiving the Verification Email, please try these steps:
🛠 Confirm there are no typos in your Preferred Email on your Age Insider Profile
🛠 Search your inbox for the email
- Email comes from noreply@ageofempires.com with "Email Verification" in the subject line
🛠 Check that Age of Empires is not Blocked from sending you emails
- Steps will vary based on email service provider
- Make sure that noreply@ageofempires.com & noreply@microsoft.com are not on your blocked or spam-filter lists on your email settings
- You may have to add these email address to your "Safe Senders" list or to your Contacts list
🛠 Try an alternate preferred email address
Some email providers will block the receiving of emails from an address if it has been filtered to the spam folder too many times, frequently deleted without reading, an "unsubscribe" or similar button has been pressed, or for other similar criteria. In these cases, if you cannot unblock our sending address, you will have to use an alternative preferred email address for receiving our communications.
- Login to your Age Insider Profile
- Update your Preferred Email address to an alternate address
- Click the Update button
- Next, click the resend Verification Email link and check the inbox of the alternate address
